Frizz Endz (the product we use) has been tested independently and is 40 times below the safe Australian standard for formaldehyde (less than 0.0005% versus Australian standard of 0.2%. 0.0005% is as low as the testing equipment will read so in all probability the level is lower than that stated on the report).

To further guarantee the safety of our clients and staff from any fumes our salon is fitted with six extraction fans that extract 1,320 litres of air per second.

Aftercare of your Keratin Smoothing Treatment

When you have a Keratin Smoothing Treatment at Hair Traders your treatment is ‘instant’. No endless lists of things you can and can’t do.

We use Frizz Endz Crystal Shield sealer that instantly stabilizes and locks in the keratin and seals the hairs’ cuticle for an instant result. This incredible technology that comes from the USA is unique to the Frizz Endz Smoothing System and is available exclusively at Hair Traders in Macquarie Shopping Centre.

There’s no waiting 2-3 days for the treatment to stabilize in your hair. So now you can go home and shampoo your hair on the same day if you want; go to the gym if you want; tie your hair back if you want…

In fact live life as you’ve always done.

Important Things to Avoid

Do not shampoo with a shampoo that contains sodium chloride or sodium laureth sulphate. That’s as difficult as it gets..!

We recommend Trichovedic shampoo and conditioner. (You can buy them on our Product Purchases page)

Swimming in sea or pool water will also reduce the lifespan of your Treatment.
